- This module creates guided opportunities to critically reflect, in rigorous, evidence-based ways, on undergraduate experiences in the University Scholars Programme and at the National University of Singapore. It is a requirement for USP students.
- As a Life Sciences student, I took the opportunity to explore how my understanding of biomedicine has evolved over my time as an undergraduate, how it is complicated by our interactions with others, and how it is influenced by and influences society.

- The Asian Undergraduate Summit is an international summit that aims to bring together undergraduates from all over Asia to engage in meaningful academic, cultural and social exchange.

- Framework – Futures Thinking Frameworks
- We explored the chosen theme of the year through site visits, breakout sessions and lecture series by industry experts from both the public, private and the people sectors.
- AUS also adopts a synergistic skills-based track to complement participants’ learning. We participated in workshops conducted to equip participants with the Futures Thinking framework to consolidate information learnt into ideas and deliverables.
- We presented our deliverables to a panel of judges at the end of the summit.
- Worked with two NGOs, namely Gawad Kalinga and Alalay Sa Kaunlaran, Inc., to observe how different NGOs work to alleviate poverty in the Philippines.
- We conducted interviews with various stakeholders, from community leaders to the management at both NGOs, to evaluate the sustainability of the projects implemented and the degree to which they have been successful.
- Our findings and recommendations using Asset Based Community Development principles were presented in a report and presentation to the NGOs.
